A Hayes Custom Guns ported island barrel (often featured on models like the Cobra HC1911) is a 5-inch match-grade KKM barrel featuring an integrated-rib "island" front sight mount and top barrel ports designed to vent expanding gases, significantly mitigating muzzle rise and recoil.
Key Design Features
- Island Sight Integration: The front sight is machined directly onto the barrel's raised rib rather than the reciprocating slide. This keeps the front sight stationary and dark/steady during the firing cycle, allowing for faster tracking.
- Integrated Porting: Top-barrel ports vent high-pressure gases upward to counteract muzzle flip, helping the shooter keep sights or optic dots flat in the target window.
- Reciprocating Weight Reduction: Because the slide is relieved to accommodate the stationary island profile, cycle dynamics and tracking feel distinct from a standard bull barrel.

- Condition: 9/10 with minor wears on the magwell area. No damage or wears on the original chrome. Approximately 200 rounds fired.
